The NCBC Partners with The Catholic University of America on Master’s Degree in Moral Theology/Ethics

BROOMALL, PA, August 24, 2026—The National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC) is pleased to announce a new academic partnership with The Catholic University of America (CUA). Starting with the 2026–2027 academic year, students who complete the NCBC’s National Catholic Certification Program in Health Care Ethics can transfer six credits toward CUA’s master’s degree in moral theology/ethics.  

“This is a great opportunity for our students to further their graduate education with a trusted, faithful institution of higher education following completion of our Certification Program,” said Dr. Joe Zalot, Director of Education at the NCBC. “CUA is now the sixth academic partner to which our students can transfer credits.”  

NCBC’s National Catholic Certification Program in Health Care Ethics is a thirty-week immersive study in Catholic bioethics, taken over a nine-month period. For more information, please click here.
