Director’s Message on the Sacred Heart Novena for Personal Consultations

June is the month of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus!

The Personal Consultations Department of The National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC) invites you to join us in a novena to celebrate the first anniversary of its launch and consecration to the Sacred Heart! The novena will begin on Wednesday, June 7th, and it will conclude with a renewal of the consecration on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart, which falls this year on June 16th. You can also pray it any time throughout the year!

Others in our lost culture will be reveling in "Pride" this June and throughout the year, sowing more confusion and multiplying offenses against Our Lord's Sacred Heart.

In humble thanksgiving and petition, we will be praying the Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Our prayers will be offered in reparation for those offenses, in thanksgiving for this successful first year of the Personal Consultations Department, and to request three graces for the department's second year:

1. The virtue of prudence and the gift of peace in the hearts of all who contact NCBC's personal consultation service

2. A 20% increase in the number of people aided by our personal ethics consultations

3. Donations of at least $100,000 in support of NCBC's free consultation service

We accomplished much this past year through the supportive prayers, feedback, and gifts from so many of you. THANK YOU!

By God’s grace, the consistent and faithful expertise of our ethicists, and the committed efforts of our fellows and interns, we are equipped to bring our free ethics consultations to more people than ever while forming a new generation of solid Catholic ethicists with on-the-ground training. But there is still much more to do.
