Institutional Consultations & Services

For more information about services to institutions, contact John F. Brehany, PhD, Director of Institutional Relations, at 215-877-2015 or jbrehany@ncbcenter.org.

The National Catholic Bioethics Center has vast experience in providing services to dioceses, Catholic health care institutions, investment firms, and other institutions who face issues affecting Catholic identity in professional practice. Clients of the NCBC can depend on absolute confidentiality and the full attention of the Center and its resources to provide an analysis of the matter presented for consideration and recommendations for resolution when requested.

Among others, institutional issues may involve cooperative and joint ventures between Catholic and non-Catholic partners, and audits of Catholic hospitals and health care systems to ensure the faithful application of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

A majority of the United States dioceses are diocesan members of The National Catholic Bioethics Center. When it comes to the preservation of Catholic identity in Catholic institutions, that recommendation speaks for itself. No other bioethical institute has our years of experience, our competence, and the trust of the Catholic hierarchy both at home and at the Vatican.

For additional information, please contact the Center directly at 215-877-2660.
