STUDENT PROGRAMS

The National Catholic Bioethics Center offers 2 Student Programs.
  • The Internship Program is a non-accredited, directed readings program in medical ethics with a clinical ethics component. Study of the program's subject-matter is conducted from the perspective of Catholic teaching and tradition.

The Internship program includes written and oral requirements: a final paper on an assigned case study and a comprehensive oral examination. Final grades are issued with a certificate upon successful completion of the program. Click here for more details.

  •
  • Independent Study program allows students to do a guided research at their own pace in areas of particular interest. Students have use of the library at the National Catholic Bioethics Center and consult weekly with one of the staff ethicists. The length of study is determined by the individual needs of the student. Click here for more details.
