Internships

The Intern Program is open to those interested in a one-year program studying the Catholic tradition of bioethical reflection. Each semester a syllabus is worked out with the interns. In this way, the Center tries to accommodate each individual's academic strengths and weaknesses. The syllabus contains readings and two regular weekly discussion sessions about the readings. Interns on occasion may attend clinical ethics lectures and seminars with National Catholic Bioethics Center staff. The first semester provides the theory, (Foundations of Catholic Medical Ethics) and the second the practice (Issues in Medical Ethics) within the Catholic tradition.
