Please help us continue our vital work by making your contribution to The National Catholic Bioethics Center today.
The National Catholic Bioethics Center relies on the generous support of friends and benefactors to help fund our mission of defending the dignity of the human person in health care and the life sciences. More than half of our annual revenue is provided by donors, without whom we could not continue to offer a faithful and clear Catholic voice to the many critical issues which directly or indirectly affect each of us.

With your help we are able to:
- Provide over 600 free consultations each year via our 24/7 emergency consultation service to individuals facing critical issues related to the health care needs of their family members.
- Provide services to offices of the Holy See for which we receive no reimbursement.
- Work to affect public policy in the area of health care and medical research.
- Work with bishops and administrators of Catholic health care facilities to preserve Catholic identity during mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures of Catholic and non-Catholic institutions.
- Provide a semi-annual conference for bishops in which current topics related to medical-moral questions are addressed.
- Conduct ongoing research into bioethical issues arising from developments in medicine and the life sciences such as Fetal Tissue Research, Organ Transplantation, Genetic Medicine and Engineering, Stem Cell Research and Cloning.
- Provide regular seminars on the Catholic tradition in health-care ethics for bishops and other clergy, men and women religious, hospital ethics committees, physicians, nurses, chaplains and others providing health-care services.
